WALT and KEVIN @ Pine State Biscuits (503) 236-3346
3640 SE Belmont Street, Portland, Oregon, 97214

Why they’re dreamy:
Biscuits, baby, biscuits! It’s all about the fluffy flour pucks here, and these guys know how to serve them up with flair. Keep it sweet and simple with jam, butter and honey, or Pine State pimento cheese spread, or go for the heart-cloggingly complex “Reggie deluxe” with fried chicken, bacon, egg, cheese, and gravy. (No, we’re not joking.) Crushing on these cuties might be hard on the hips, but it’s definitely easy on the eyes and the pocketbook!

ANTHONY @ Arleta Library Bakery Cafe (503) 774-4470
5513 SE 72nd Street, Portland, Oregon, 97206

Why he’s dreamy:
Semolina griddle cakes with crumbled bacon inside. Sinful but worth it, just like all those sweets tempting us from their perch on the counter. Yummy sandwiches and simple, fresh comfort food hit the spot on those days when we feel mellow and low-key. But we can’t help tossing on a little mascara and lip gloss, knowing this adorable chefboy will be there. *blush* Thanks so much to A. for tipping us off to this cutie!

TYLER @ Union (206) 838-8000
1400 First Avenue, Seattle, WA, 98101

Why he’s dreamy:
Potato gnocchi (yes, CG1 has a crush on gnocchi in general so don’t be surprised if they’re a recurring theme) with nettles, bacon, and creme fraiche. We also flirted madly with a melt-in-your-mouth buttery smooth kampachi crudo with fresh basil and diced crisp/sweet…apple? But we must confess that Tyler is extra cute due to A) his adorable kitchen companions and B) Keith, who is crushworthy in his own right and our favorite bartender in Seattle right now. And if we’re remembering the dishes wrong, it’s Keith’s fault. *wink* Tyler and crew get extra chef crush hearts for not being afraid of lil ole CG1 and her camera.
